Vander Ark At It Again

Vander Ark is back, and he’s moving forward with the publishing of an edited down Harry Potter encyclopedia. In September, a New York judged ruled in favour of J.K. Rowling, and publishing was halted on Vander Ark’s previous encyclopedia.
“We learned a lot at the trial about what was acceptable, what would follow the fair-use guidelines,” he said. “That was not clear before. There was no law on the books that made it clear what was acceptable and what wasn’t.
