Illegal Distribution of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Recently news has come to light through The times relating to the free distribution of copies of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The Times has reported that the books were available free from Scribd.com, most of which were distributed without the author’s consent. The Times has contacted Legal Reps of J.K Rowling and the website reports;
Neil Blair, J. K. Rowling’s lawyer at the Christopher Little literary agency, said that Scribd did not have permission “and what you have identified are infringing listings which we were aware of and actioning
