Thursday, September 17th, 2009It was announced earlier today that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released on DVD in the United States on December 8th. They will be releasing a one disc copy and a two disc special edition copy. The synopsis for the DVD is:

Midnight earnings for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Thursday, July 16th, 2009Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince has brought in $22.2 million in midnight screenings domestically. The sixth installment has beaten The Dark Knight which was the previous record holder with $18.5 million. It also beat it predecessor Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by $10 million.
