The chair that J.K Rowling sat on to write Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has recently been sold at a charity auction for £20,000. 20% of the funds raised from the chair will go to Books Abroad, a charity that sends school books to impoverished countries.

Did J.K. Rowling Rip Off Willy the Wizard?

J.K Rowling Immortalised in Lego Mosaic

Tonight the Daily Telegraph is reporting that Harry Potter author J.K Rowling has been immortalised in a mosaic made of Lego. The mosaic was built at Lego-land Windsor. The mosaic of Rowling contains 48,000 “white, yellow and grey bricks,” and was constructed with the help of children this past bank holiday in the UK.
