Witch of the Month; August 2009!
This months Witch of the Month is a very active and loyal Ravenclaw whose shining personality can always be seen around the board! She’s helpful and follows the rules, so please congratulate ShadowFeet for earning her place in the WotM Hall of Fame!
1) You’re Wizard of the Month.. what’s your first reaction?
I thought… Wizard of the month? and then I associated it with the abbreviation “WotM” and then i was really excited and honoured and proud. =D I guess I knew what it was, it just sort of took me off guard. But yeah, excitement and pride were my real reactions.
2) You’ve been on darkmark some time, however did you end up in this place?
My fellow ravie, FrenchFry, actually. She’s always been one of my best friends in real life and for, I don’t know, a year or 3, she had been bugging me to join this Harry Potter forum. At the beginning I didn’t have the internet but when I did, she pleaded with me to join until I did. And then I got super addicted and love this place 
3) most remarkable moment you had on Darkmark.com?
Ooh, that’s a really hard one. It was probably when we first got [or I first noticed, which ever came first] the shoutbox and seeing how… close a lot of the members were with eachother. Or maybe it was my first house cup when i saw how dedicated everyone was to their house. There are actually several remarkable moments I’ve had here.
4) What’s your favorite of the Harry Potter books?
Also a hard question xD probably Half-blood Prince or Order of the Phoenix. Not sure why… maybe it was how the characters had matured and the dangers had become more severe.
5) and of course we also want to know your favorite character.
Another toughie. I think Snape wins out, though. Just how complex his character is and how the perspective on his character changes captivated me makes him my favourite.
6) What do you think of the Harry Potter movies?
I love them I definitely pick out the changes in plot and the differences between the movies in the books but I still find them very entertaining.
7) Tell us a little something about your daily life?
My daily life. Well, I’m pretty average, I guess. I am in a few bands, I play french horn and trumpet. I love music. Band is my love, and my fellow bandmates are my lovers. I play hockey and I love sailing, and of course I like to read. I get good grades in school even though I instill next to no effort, except in band and English class. I hang out with my friends, like to party just like any teenager, aaand I love DM. Idk, I guess that sums it up.
8 ) Any goals you want to reach in the future?
my future goals at this moment are to finish the loading the dishwasher and mow the grass tomorrow. That’s pretty much as far as it goes- I don’t have the more distant future planned out, like, a career or anything.
9) your motto or favorite saying is:
When you think you’re screwed, remember- we’re all on a big, wet ball, floating in the dark.
10) Who would you recommend for next month?
Ooh, me again 
just kidding. I would say… the webbies and the staff that did the upgrading. it seemed to me that it took quite a bit of effort and time and patience. They deserve some recognition for it. And because of their general work on the site and overall awesomeness.*applauds* Ooh, or maybe FrenchFry, as she has agreed to be a temporary moderator for the Ravenclaw and doing a great job and being super active and ravie-proud 2 years in a row, I believe, she’s been the temp. mod.. to be honest, i could find many members that I think deserve WotM, but those are the top 2 shoe-ins, in my book.
